AmCham Women's Day Event Held

Our Chairwoman of the Board Zehra Öney, took place as a speaker at the AmCham Turkey “Women's Day Event” held in partnership with Harvard Business Review. She mentioned that despite the great potential of women in the production and development of technology, gender inequality occurs in the technology sector due to discouragement and motivation. She talked about the danger that women are not represented in the production of technology or they are few in number, and that transforming technology products will emerge with a sexist approach if the inequality stays still.

Mrs. Öney said “We are in a rapidly changing and digitalizing world. Technology is not only for man made; technology is human work. We need people to work and produce in this field. The quality and healthy future of this production can only be realized if the environment that produces this production is diverse and equal.”
