Human and Career Meeting in Technology at ITU

Women in Technology Association held its second event within the scope of "Meeting of People and Careers in Technology" at Istanbul Technical University Suleyman Demirel Cultural Center on March 6, 2020. Distinguished guests from the business world and academia attended the event held under the coordination of Özlem Tokcanlı and Hepsiburada Women Entrepreneur Coordinator Duygu Karataş, one of our association members, Sistem Global CFO.

The event started with the opening speeches of Şule Gündüz Öğüdücü, Head of the Center for Women's Studies and Applications in Science, Engineering and Technology in Istanbul Technical University, and Zehra Öney, Head of the Women's Association in Technology, continued with an inspiring role model speech by Hasan Aslanoba, CEO of Aslanoba Capital. System Global CFO craving Tokcanlı is carried out in moderation, "Wtechtalks" panel Deloitte Turkey Consulting Services Partner craving Fireproof, the CTO Hepsiburada Gürkan Coşkuner, Essential Evolutions Founder Esen All the SRP Legal Co-Founder Av. Dr. Çiğdem Ayözger Öngün, Menapay CEO Çağla Gül Şenkardeş and Coca Cola İçecek CIO Leyla Deliç were the panelists. The panel session where the speakers talked about their valuable views and their career journeys provided a very visionary framework for the students.

In the Kahoot draw held at the end of the panel, 15 students received valuable gifts such as mentoring, internship opportunities and office visits, lunch with role model managers in technology, gift vouchers from online stores.
